HIIT CARDIO

In cardio training around the world, HIIT or high-intensity interval training, has been a big hit among serious fitness enthusiasts.

This form of cardio mixes intervals of high-intensity exercise such as sprinting with intervals of either low-intensity exercise such as walking at a slow pace or complete rest.

HIIT was developed decades ago by track coaches to better prepare runners. Studies showed the short bursts of high intensity training gave better all around results in cardio and strength.

ZUMBA

Zumba is a fun dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s.

Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included.

Approximately 15 million people take weekly Zumba classes in over 200,000 locations across 180 countries, it's popularity due in part to how much fun the exercise is.
